Introduction

Gnars was recently gifted a significant amount of $Sendit (↗︎) tokens (Thanks Gami and Benbodhi!). The Gnars treasury holds 777,777,777.77↗ (7% of the total supply 🤑) with a current valuation of around $180,000 USD at the time of submitting this proposal. These funds aren't doing any good just sitting in the treasury, so this proposal meant to kickoff for putting these funds to work for Gnars!

Objective

Distribute a meaningful portion (10%) of the $Sendit tokens held the Gnars treasury to the Community and Tech Pod for discretionary use towards creating community incentives, supplementing contributor compensation, and innovating token use cases.

Allocation

Utilization

Community Pod 🎉

The Community Pod will primarily focus on fostering community engagement, nurturing relationships with other communities, and amplifying the Gnars brand across various platforms. The allocated tokens will be utilized at the Community Pod's discretion, but will likely include:

• Supplementing Compensation: Rewards for community managers, moderators, and other contributors based on their level of engagement and impact.
• Contests and Incentives: Tokens will be allocated as prizes for contests, challenges, and initiatives designed to encourage community participation and content creation.
• Social Media Engagement: Incentives for creating and sharing engaging content on social media platforms, thereby increasing Gnars' visibility and reach.

Tech Pod 🤖

The Tech Pod will spearhead the exploration and implementation of innovative technical solutions, enhancing the functionality and utility of $Sendit tokens within the Gnars ecosystem. The allocated tokens will be utilized at the Tech Pod's discretion, but will likely include:

• Supplementing Compensation: Fair compensation for developers and other technical contributors assisting in the development and maintenance of Gnars infrastructure.
• Experimental Technical Use Cases: Funding for experimental technical use cases aimed at expanding the utility of $Sendit tokens within the Gnars ecosystem with the ultimate goal of uplifting both ecosystems.

Examples of some use cases currently being discussed by the Tech Pod are:

1. Expanding Auction Bidding: Integration of $Sendit tokens into auction bidding on gnars.wtf in a way that automatically settles bids in ETH.
2. Auction Rebates: Creation of $Sendit rebates as incentives for participation in auctions, encouraging higher auction settling and more earned ETH for Gnars.
3. Liquidity Providing: Creation of or contribution to existing $Sendit liquidity pools, generating novel streams of "passive income" for the Gnars.
4. Farcaster Frames: Creation of Farcaster Frames that make use of $Sendit tokens to encourage and enhance engagement with the Gnars ecosystem.
