We propose establishing the Media Pod and its core infrastructure, then focusing on specific initiatives rather than broad overarching funding. This strategy sets a standard for future pods and allows for targeted funding of core media activities as detailed below, with subsequent initiatives being proposed individually, granting the community greater influence over the pod’s direction and focus areas.
We’ve had access to our Instagram account for 2 months, and the positive progress is evident. We've gained approximately 300 followers and successfully held the Gnars Contest, which has helped define our profile’s main colors and align with the Gnars aesthetic from our website. Collaborations with our athletes and artists have brought our profile to life.
As we are primarily onchain, our Web2 presence hadn't been consistently managed before. However, after these 2 months, it's clear how valuable it is to have an active social media channel that people engage with daily. This regular interaction not only generates exciting content but also strengthens our community and enhances the visibility and impact ofno the Gnars project.
Video Content Creation: Develop a steady stream of high-quality videos showcasing our athletes, community events, and creative projects.
Social Media Management: Provide consistent and engaging content across Instagram and Youtube, maintaining a daily posting schedule.
Branding: Ensure all content aligns with GnarsDAO's branding guidelines, promoting a cohesive and recognizable identity.
Community Engagement: Strengthen the GnarsDAO brand through strategic media, storytelling, and interaction with our audience. Boost the main posts and achievements of athletes and the gnars community on IG.
Growth and Interaction: Increase followers and engagement through community activities, collaborations, and interactive posts.

Develop a monthly content calendar featuring athlete highlights, web3 project updates, creative content, and community stories. Regularly produce and release videos capturing the spirit and activities of the GnarsDAO community. Conduct regular giveaways, Q&A sessions, and interactive posts to boost engagement. Ensure all media aligns with GnarsDAO's branding guidelines for a cohesive identity. Use analytics tools to monitor growth and engagement, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance.
The actions below will be carried out over 6 months, leaving until January with a maintenance plan, demand and budget.
Daily use of IG, X, and Youtube social networks, interacting with users and keeping the page active. Create 2 different filters for Instagram, like a Gnars Mask and something interactive like a 3D one running on top of the head.
3 posts per week on Instagram and 2 post per month on Youtube. ranging from main achievements, main information/news, creative videos, creative arts, photography curated by our shreders, and interacting with the community. Keeping the focus of these posts on videos.
Make 1 professional video every 15 days adapting the nouns of creation and design aesthetics, and post it in reels, as an NFT on our zora profile, integrating with our discord and Youtube channels. The last Youtube Gnars post was 7 months ago, the idea would be to upload all the videos we will make as well as the main videos and premieres created by the community on our channel, after re-editing if necessary within a gnarly aesthetic. Likewise, we only have 7 videos posted on our YouTube, a very small number for the time it took to complete our DAO.
Carry out general curatorial work such as content from Shredders and the gnars/nouns community, to architect communication and sharing of main posts, such as saving and organizing on our drives and clouds. (Terabox e GoogleDrive)
Structure code with written video link, to github gnarsdot of the main creations, premieres and developments, by gnars partnerships, to be placed in our database following the website gnars.com, keeping it updated in sync with current achievements.
Allocate money to hire professionals to create possible designs and illustrations, more elaborate animations for important events, such as gnars' birthday, or something special.
Management of (IG, Youtube and Twitter), including all branding work, communication with communities, curation of main content, art direction, brand following, daily and weekly posts, content creation and constant movements. Over the course of 6 months, we aim to deliver daily and weekly posts showcasing our best achievements and projects, maintaining active communication on our social networks and within the community. This includes reposting, producing 12 Nounish/gnarly videos (six impactful 15-25 second clips and six 30-60 second videos), and boosting the main videos. We'll also create design or animation works, including two creative Instagram filters, to celebrate events like our birthday or New Year. We will upload videos to YouTube, keeping our pages active with current accomplishments. Additionally, we'll save and organize all major collections and creations in Drive, documents, HackMD, or GitHub, including links and project explanations, to facilitate possible integration with our Gnars database.
